Wild Wonders Day Camp

This Day Camp is designed for youth ages 5-11 to explore the wonders of God's creation through exciting games, hands-on crafts, and engaging weekly themes.
The location is St. John Lutheran Church @ 6540 Main St., Williamsville, NY 14221.
Drop-off is from 8-8:30AM. Pick-up is from 3-3:30PM.

Discounts & Camperships
$50 discounts will be provided for subsequent weeks and for families with more than one child attending camp.
(e.g. $200 week one, $150 week two | $200 child one, $150 child two)
"Camperships" are available for anyone in need. Please contact Pastor Scott @ pastorscott@sjlcamherst.com to request additional help. All requests are confidential.
Volunteers
Please stay tuned for a volunteer sign-up. In addition to our staff, we will need 8-9 volunteers daily to help with check-in, snack and dismissal.
Upper Middle and High School students are encouraged to volunteer as Youth Leaders. Volunteer hours will be granted! But don't do it for that... do it to help build a brighter and better world. If you are interested in serving as a youth leader please email lutheranyouthwny@gmail.com.
All volunteers will be required to sign off and abide by the Safe Sanctuary policies of Lutheran Youth WNY and local Lutheran congregations.

FAQ's
What about lunch? Snacks?
Lunch will be provided ONE day each week. On other days children should bring a bagged lunch. Morning and afternoon snacks WILL be provided daily. Careful attention to any/all allergies will be given by camp staff and volunteers . Please communicate those on the registration form.
Can I drop my child off early or pick them up late?
Children cannot be dropped off early or picked up late. Families will be assessed a charge to cover staffing costs when children are picked up late.
Is financial help available?
Yes. Absolutely. Email pastorscott@sjlcamherst.com with requests. We will do what we can to make sure funds are not the reason any child misses out on Wild Wonders Day Camp.
What does a typical day of Wild Wonders Day Camp look like?
Each day will include a variety of activities, crafts, and games. We will break for snack in the morning and afternoon. We'll make time for lunch midday. There will be components that create opportunities for rest, renewal, fun, and growth. Our trained staff will be focused on engagement, teamwork, friendship, and safety.
Capture the flag, boondoggle, tie-dye, kickball, and legos are just a few of the fun activities at Wild Wonders Day Camp.
How do we pay?
St. John Lutheran Church is handling the registration and payment. To pay you may click here (select WILD WONDERS DAY CAMP be sure to name your child/children when asked to "designate") or make checks payable to St. John Lutheran Church and send them to 6540 Main St., Williamsville, NY 14221. Registration is complete when the online form has been filled out and the payment is received.
Will the camp fill up?
There is a capacity for each week of day camp. Once that number is reached the camp will be considered full and we will create a waitlist.
What do we need to do/send our child with each day?
Put sunscreen on. Bring your lunch & a water bottle. Packing a good attitude and willingness to have fun will also help. On chilly days, bring a hoodie. On rainy days, bring a rain coat. Mostly, be ready to have fun.
